Can you give me furniture advice?

I need some furniture for my new house...I saw this set at Big Lots (3 Piece Check Plush Mocha Collection) I like it and it is $1300 cheaper than this other set we like....has anyone ever purchased any furniture from Big Lots? How has it held up? Its tempting since I would be saving soooo much money....

Yes, Big Lots always has good deals. But, they're cheaper, but you get what you pay for. I googled the set, and it came up at big lots. Honestly, after awhile, from sitting in it, it's going to start sagging I would call it, not very durable or long lasting in other words. I have bought a baker's rack off them, and it's falling apart at the seams, and bought mouses that lasted 2 months the most. It's up to you, but I would buy something more durable and that won't sink in soon enough. Good luck to you though.

Role Of Furniture In Interior Decoration

There is a lot more to furniture than just a functional role. Beautiful furniture has to be designed and created to be used and cherished through the years. Choose a beautiful black wardrobe, ideally mirrored fronted so that it adds depth and brightness, some lavish silver or black bedside tables and a big Venetian chest of drawers. Combining black furniture with mirrored furniture will add depth and light to the bedroom, without losing the luxurious dramatic look we want.

Now that you have chosen your furniture, you can complement your look with lavish bed linen, cushions, a beautiful mirror, some practical table lamps and a gorgeous chandelier. Just make sure that the colours of all those accessories won’t clash with the soft colour scheme of your furniture. The result should an eclectic and warm bedroom with a" feel good" atmosphere.

Remember that the furniture arrangement in a room makes a big impact to the overall feel of the space. So make sure that the position of the bed leaves enough room to walk from one end of the room to the other. Use mirrors at the end of hallways or in narrow corners to add depth and brightness. Et voila! Your interior design project is finished!
